DVD Review: TOM AND JERRY IN THE DOGHOUSE

The famous cartoon cat and mouse team are back, Tom and Jerry have been around for decades and have a new DVD available called TOM AND JERRY IN THE DOGHOUSE that includes good ole Spike the bulldog.

Warner Brothers has put together 22 episodes of these awesome cartoon shorts featuring Tom and Jerry with Spike and even his son Tyke showing up in some episodes.

When you get spike you get a stereotype character that portrays a lazy bulldog half the time which comes off hilarious. The things Tom will do to either keep Spike sleeping or to keep him calm are fun to watch all the while Jerry goes the extra mile to make it even harder for Tom.

Each story pairs these two up and puts them into some funny situations that is just animated goofiness at its best. Anything from babysitting to the two going fishing and Tom using Jerry as bait, then you look over and there’s Spike sleeping  and we all know Tom better not wake the bulldog up or he’ll get pulverized. Jerry has Tom’s number in every episode, even when they’re getting along and he always has Spike at his disposal in these stories.

This DVD is a 22-episode watch that includes 162 minutes of wonderful animated action and mishaps! Old classics and even some of the newer shorts are included on this DVD.

Bottom line is I really enjoyed this DVD and recommend it to kids of all ages! I could watch any of  Tom and Jerry’s adventures at anytime, you’re never too old for these kind of cartoons!  The DVD is available now and you can pick it up HERE. 3.5/5
